The Norwegian Soloist Prize

Johan has beed awarded the Norwegian Soloist Prize 2019.

Johan received the prize of 100000 NOK at Grieghallen in Bergen, Norway, after performing the Bruch Violin Concerto with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Ed Gardner. Johan will also give a recital at Bergen International Festival in May 2020 as part of the prize.

This year's winner has been chosen by an international jury that praises his superb and charismatic playing. Despite his young age, he is already embarking on a major international career, says chairman Peter Herresthal.
